Sales Manager (Remote)

We seek an experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive growth for our HR software platform. This is a remote position with occasional travel required to meet with clients and attend key events.

Overview of Role

As Sales Manager, you will oversee the full sales cycle while managing a team of sales professionals. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, mentoring your team, and aligning sales strategy with company objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets
Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy to drive consistent revenue growth
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound efforts
Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to improve sales enablement
Conduct product demos and present tailored solutions to prospective clients
Travel occasionally for client meetings, presentations, and industry events

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a similar industry is a plus, with at least 1 year in a team leadership or management role
Strong understanding of solution-based and consultative sales approaches
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and coaching skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a remote environment
Willingness to travel as needed

I entered Payboy as a UX Designer after graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic under the Startup Talent Factory Program. Even though I entered the company with little to no experience in this industry, Payboy created an environment where I could learn and explore comfortably. Back when I was a second year in SMU, I applied for internships with only a couple of basic programming courses under my belt. I really only knew the basics: loops and if-conditions, some idea of html and css.
