UX/UI Designer

Overview of Role

We design to make complex tasks feel simple, clear, and user-friendly.
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our product team in building a next-generation B2B HRMS platform for SMEs and enterprises.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Senior UX/UI Designers, and Developers to design clear, consistent, and intuitive experiences for both web and mobile. Using our Design Framework and Design System, you’ll help people (employees and admins) complete their complex HR tasks with ease and confidence.
The ideal candidate is passionate about solving user problems, delivering adaptive and creative design solutions, and staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in UX/UI design.

Responsibilities

  1. Determine business needs and user requirements for user interface (UI) design.
  2. Synthesise findings from requirements analysis for the design of UI.
  3. Ensure that specification requirements for UI design are aligned with business needs and user requirements.
  4. Evaluate user research to identify potential UI design enhancements.
  5. Formulate technical specifications and delivery platform requirements for UI.
  6. Manage the design of UI elements for projects to ensure consistency and alignment to overall concept.
  7. Develop processes to incorporate industry standards and best practices for design of UIs.
  8. Translate content and layout into intuitive and responsive interface experience for users.
  9. Develop designs of interface layers, adhering to branding elements, standards and guidelines.
  10. Program UIs to accomplish specific tasks.
  11. Ensure that the UI visually communicates the path that a user experience designer has laid out.
  12. Review style guides and make enhancements to ensure that a consistent design language is applied across products.
  13. Propose emerging technologies or methodologies to design UIs.
  14. Develop prototypes for UI.
  15. Oversee the conduct of usability testing to validate UI.
  16. Oversee the implementation of UI.
  17. Prepare documentations for UI design implementation and compliance.
  18. Evaluate the effectiveness of UIs in meeting business and user needs and requirements.
  19. Recommend modifications in the design of UI based on usability test findings.
  20. Analyse the performance of UI designs based on performance indicators and propose recommendations.
  21. Oversee UI design audits.
  22. Develop solutions to solve UI design issues.
  23. Design frameworks for quantitative analysis.
  24. Analyse outcomes of UI design audits for improvements.

Requirements

Education Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science; or related discipline.

Experience Requirements
●     **1–3 years **of experience in UX/UI Design for web and/or mobile platforms.
●     Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability, and responsive UI design.
●     Proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components & variants, variables, prototyping, etc.).
●     Familiarity with Design Systems and productivity/collaboration tools (e.g. Notion, Slack, Excel).
●     Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams (product, engineering, stakeholders).
●     Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
●     Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
●     Team player who can also work independently.
Nice-to-have (Bonus):
●     Experience with HR, payroll, or B2B SaaS software.
●     Knowledge of design testing methods (usability testing, A/B testing, heuristic evaluation).
Basic understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, React, etc.).
