How to set up Payboy x Financio integration

Step 1: Link your Financio account to Payboy account

Log into Payboy and click on Settings > integration on the sidebar
Click on "Connect Financio" and you will be redirected to the Financio login page to select the correct entity that you would like to link to
Click "Allow Access" and you will be redirected to your Payboy account

Step 2: Set up mapping for the data under Financio settings

Select your preferred options for the data sync:

Journal status: Either Draft or Approved. For a seamless flow of information from HR to Finance, we'd recommend selecting Approved.
Journal type: Bill information sent to Financio can be grouped by employees or pay items
Account Mapping: The claim types and pay items in Payboy can be mapped to the relevant accounts in Financio's chart of accounts

Step 3: Generate Payroll

Find out how you can generate payroll using Payboy HR software.

Step 4: Sync to Financio

Click the "Sync to Financio" button at the bottom right corner of the payroll page. Status will change from "Processing" to "Complete" once sync is completed.

Step 5: Verify payroll data on Financio

On your Financio account, select Transactions to view the Journal Entries that are created
